In 2010 Elisa Freire Lobo began restoring her family’s land, where olive groves and grazing pastures mingle with 60 year old vines. Her aim was to bring back the traditional profile of Dao wines. By returning to basics such as foot-treading the grape bunches and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, she makes wines that are graceful and fresh. This field blend is medium-bodied, with dark berry fruit and a soft tannic finish.
