The De Forville family emigrated to Piedmont from Belgium in 1848. In the early part of the twentieth century, they sold their wine in bulk directly to restaurants and to retailers but in 1940 they started bottling their own wine and never looked back. This is a lively, full-bodied red packed with dark berries and black cherries. A perfect wine for the colder months ahead.
