The winemakers at independently owned Domaine de Castelnau make this classic Picpoul de Pinet, where they age the wine on lees from 6 to 8 months for a pale gold color. The wine opens with a pretty floral nose, refreshing on the palate, with dry, lingering lychee notes and a zippy grapefruit and lemon peel finish.
