The coastal region of Alentejo produces some excellent wine from the Antão Vaz grape, which is known for being acidic, zesty and tropical fruit-heavy. Apple, citrus and pineapple on the nose, buttery and bold concentrated fruit with medium acidity to balance. Lovely with fresh fish, paella or sardines.
