Buriana gets its name from “Buran” or “Burian,” a Siberian wind that brings storm and cold wind to the hilly area of Monteveglio, near Bologna. With eight days of skin contact and spontaneous fermentation in cement containers and amphorae, this low-sulfur orange wine is dry, delicate, and fruity.
