Winemaker Florentino Monje is known for resurrecting and fine-tuning the traditional process of semi-carbonic, whole-cluster maceration of the tempranillo grape. This style dates back centuries but was replaced with the take over for French winemaking techniques. The Seis is a throwback Rioja - lighter and more graceful, with a focus on terroir and primary fruit. Tart blackberry, cedar, mint and a polished mouthfeel.
