
Sometimes called 'Baby Amarone', Ripasso is made when Valpolicella Classico undergoes a second fermentation by adding the skins remaining from Amarone and Recioto production adding complexity, body and tannins.This delicious Ripasso starts off with aromas of dark fruit and baking spice, followed by flavors of blackberry jam, plum, and vanilla, notes of oak and tobacco. So good with grilled fare.
