The Gahier family been in the Jura since 1525. Current owner/winemaker Michel Gahier harvests and vinifies his wines parcel by parcel; and each wine ultimately is derived exclusively from a single vineyard site. This wine is aged for one year in large foudres and moved into smaller barrels for an additional three years, making this wine rich in texture with notes of green apple and almonds.
